Wellington Wedding Planner, Britt from The Wedding Coach coordinated a romantic summer styled shoot with a group of incredibly talented vendors.
“I wanted to create and style a shoot that felt like true love, and to display all the elements that it brings such as romance, fun, and playfulness.”
This Summer Romance theme weaved through every element of the shoot starting with the incredible venue, Anam Cara Gardens based in Otaki, that is surrounded in trees and gardens that make for an incredible backdrop. We also took advantage of the outdoor white wooden gazebo structure for our reception seating as this would be perfect on a summer evening for dining outside while having shade from the hot summer sun.
We had Ashley from Made Lovely Hire supply the props and furniture for the shoot, a stunning selection to choose from. I selected items to bring our summer romance theme to life in all areas of the shoot and it worked perfectly. Our signage was in hot pink and was AMAZING, Jamey from Daydream put this colour and font together and I loved it!
Our beautiful flower display on the ceremony mesh wall, the flowers for the reception table, and the bridal bouquet were all creatively put together by Rowan from Love Stomp Floral, a dream palette of summer tones using whites, pinks, yellows, and greenery.
We had Bridget from Cake it Forward supply our pink cake decorated in a pink ribbon for something fun and creative, as well as 12 delicious pink cupcakes that were so cute…and yummy!
The models wore Mandatory and Astra Bridal, that pink suit was an absolute hit on our groom, and the wedding gowns were modern, romantic, and accentuated the curves perfectly on our beautiful bride. Our bride’s beauty was enhanced with soft and whimsical hair by Rachel, and a stunning makeup palette by Zoe.
As for the photo and video team, or should I say dream team, Jaymee, our photographer captured this shoot perfectly, keeping the vibe natural and relaxed throughout the photos, she has on-trend vision to capture those dreamy shots that just make your heart melt. Karl, our videographer had a calm presence that makes him feel unnoticed in the best possible way, exactly what you’d want on your wedding day.
